The completion of the SGT5-8000H
1st Fire in December 2007 and 1st Synchronization
in March 2008 were successfully completed.
The testing program will continue with
additional runs through May, with the
next regular outage planned for completion
in July of this year. The validation Program
will continue with a series of planned
tests and inspections where results are
documented, analyzed, and deviations corrected
in a controlled process. Improvements
in part design will be installed and the
unit subsequently tested in a commercial
configuration.
