Main features of the ETP system
are:
Compact design and low total weight of
the turret section. (Typical total weight
of the ETP module including swivel and all
other components for a VLCC FPSO is only
500 tons)
All main components of the system are
integrated in the ETP module, allowing for
high-level prefabrication.
Clear cut interface towards vessel and
subsea systems.
Reduces required yard work on the vessel
to a minimum.
Suitable both for newbuilds and conversions.
Swivel core and geo-stationary topside
platforms are mounted on a pedestal supported
directly on the turret. This facilitates
passively driven rotation of the swivel
outlet rings by connection of these to the
weather-vaning vessel.
Flexible risers are extended up through
the turret barrel for hang off. Riser bending
stiffeners and casing tubes are mounted
onto the risers prior to installation, simplifying
the riser installation and locking.
Compact riser reception piping including
ESD- and isolation valves and the pig launcher
and -receiver.
