Support Equipment - Since the introduction
of our superior 260 Amp, high performance, A/C
power cable with a replaceable nose option,
almost all of the USAF has experienced its benefits.
Although the Air Force is our primary customer
for power cables throughout the nation and overseas,
the USAFRES, USANG, USCG, USNAVY, USARMY and
even the USMC have proven our products to be
a success. J&B Aviation's goal is not only
to provide premium military aircraft ground
support equipment, but to ensure that our customers
are kept abreast of the latest technology, helping
you stay 100% in commission with little or no
down-time to equipment.
One of the latest products for the AGS side
is our 400 Hz Cable Reels . These reels are
used in hangars on the floor or mounted in the
rafters for a reliable, no-maintenance distribution
of 400Hz power. We can help engineer the connection
to existing motor generators or Solid State
Frequency Converters via conduit and our 400
Hz Twisted Wire. If needed, we can provide Line
Drop Compensators (LDC) , Power Distribution
Panels and Load Point Control Units . We can
engineer your whole project from start to finish,
providing all the necessary products and Guide
Specifications. Whether it is just a Cable Reel,
a new hangar, or even Flight Line Electrical
Power Distribution Systems (FLEDS) we can help.
Special projects that may be of interest are
utilizing our Air Conditioning Ducts for hangar
use as well as for mobile equipment, whether
they are suspended from ABS ductwork to feed
F-16's, or 80 feet of Flat Duct stored on a
Hose Reel . Some of the major bases, including
Tinker AFB, OK and Offutt AFB, NE, have been
utilizing our ducts for years now and swear
by the cost saved down the road. Another great
product you may have just heard about is our
PCA Connector — we offer several styles to fit
your specifications.
